Des Moines, Iowa
Home to more than 600,000 people, Des Moines is the capitol of Iowa. The metro area boasts 800+ miles of biking and walking trails, and the nearby Ledges State Park, Jester Park, and Big Creek State Park are great for hiking, camping, and boating. There are countless other options for entertainment including sporting events, performing arts, and live music events.
Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Nicknamed The City of Five Seasons, Cedar Rapids the second largest city in Iowa and lies on both banks of the Cedar River.
