When a TeamSoft client needs a contract resource, our Account Managers partner with the client manager to gain a complete understanding of the need. The required skills, experience, cultural fit and personal attributes are all documented and communicated to our recruiting team. We consider our own following of loyal resources, while our recruiters look for skilled candidates in the marketplace. Our vetting process is comprehensive and deliberate. Our objective is much more than getting a placement. The goal is to create a long-term business relationship with our clients and candidates. We want the hiring manager and the candidate to experience a high quality fit. The majority of our consultants on assignment at our clients are W2 employees of TeamSoft. Unlike typical staffing firms, TeamSoft gives employees every reason to stay long term, including competitive compensation and a full benefits package. Assignment continuity is a significant benefit to our clients.
TeamSoft recruiters maintain pipelines of skilled candidates, some of whom are seeking permanent positions with our clients. When we receive a client request for recruiting assistance, we gather detailed requirements and preferences from the hiring manager. Our recruiters consider our existing database of candidates and the marketplace is searched for referrals, active job searchers and passive candidates. Our recruiters and technical interviewers vet candidates based on the client’s desired skills and background. Our interviewers offer their own insights on candidate evaluations for client consideration.
A contract-to-hire engagement is often viewed as ideal by both the client and the individual. It allows both parties time for evaluation before committing to a long term work relationship. Some of the IT resources who engage with TeamSoft are comfortable with consulting work but also always willing to entertain permanent job offers from our clients. When we receive a request from a client for a contract-to-hire resource, we always act in the interest of an eventual hire. The candidate and client share hiring criteria and parameters. This type of TeamSoft search and vetting is a combination of Contract Staffing and Direct-Hire efforts.

Selection Process


In a commoditized staffing world full of ten-minute recruiter interviews and shotgun submittals, TeamSoft’s Targeted Selection Process is more thorough than our competition. We like that. So do our clients.

In 2017, we sourced 12,270 new resumes. We narrowed those down and conducted 2,162 initial interviews. From there, we sent 861 resumes through our advanced technical screening process. We officially presented 832 quality resources to our clients. Just 6.8% of our original candidate pool. We don’t find just anybody; we work hard to find the right fit for our clients’ needs.
