TeamSoft Sponsors Yogathon for Lung Cancer Research

TeamSoft was proud to be a sponsor and form a team for the Madison Free to Breathe Yoga Challenge on Saturday, July 23, 2016. This was a one-of-a-kind team-based yoga challenge that helps raise money and awareness for lung cancer research with the hopes of doubling lung cancer survival by 2022. Over 200 people arrived for this event to participate in yoga and to attend a variety of additional wellness activities and workshops including mediation and memorial centers, aroma therapy, massages, and acupuncture to name a few. Speakers at the opening ceremony talked about Free to Breathe, its impact, and how their lives were impacted by lung cancer. Everyone was able to attend a few yoga sessions, but the muggy July weather caused a nasty storm cell which cancelled the event after 12:30 PM. Even with the cancellation, the Yogathon was able to raise over $70,000 With TeamSoft fundraising $1,750 of that total. Thanks again for every who attended and for making it such a great event!
